Get Homework Help with the New LORAC Close Up: Real Life to Red Carpet Natural to Dramatic Face Tutorial - Makeup and Beauty Blog
If you're a busy gal who craves classic glam and shades like peach and taupe, has LORAC got a kit for you. The new LORAC Close Up: Real Life to Blood-red Carpet Natural to Dramatic Face Tutorial ($39) comes with v full-size products for eyes, lips and cheeks and two convenient step-by-step tutorials.
The first one demonstrates how to do a natural solar day await, and the second one covers a more than dramatic look for nights (there's besides another menu filled with additional tips). Most of the time I remember the tutorials that come up with kits sound cooler than they actually are. Often they're lilliputian more a few cursory steps printed on the back of the packaging, but LORAC went a footling farther with these. The two tutorials take from six to seven steps printed with thumbnail images on half dozen″ x 6″ stickers and a spiral-spring card stock stand up. You can either stand up the cards up next to you lot while you follow along, or skin off the stickers and braze them to a mirror, counter or wall.
I felt like doing the dramatic scarlet carpet night look today and was surprised by how little time information technology took — just xx minutes, which isn't bad for a full face.
Clockwise from the chroma pan on the upper left: Chroma in Soul, Starry-Eyed Baked Eye Shadow Trio in LORACstar, Front of the Liner Pro Liner, Couture Shine Gloss in Trend Setter and Multiplex 3D Lashes Mascara
Swatches from the left: Couture Polish Gloss in Trend Setter, Starry-Eyed Baked Eye Shadow Trio in LORACstar, Front of the Liner Pro Liner and Multiplex 3D Lashes Mascara
"Sweep the lightest shade from the Starry-Eyed Baked Shadow Trio in LORCstar from lash line to brow os," Stride ane states, and I discover the rest of the steps just equally easy to follow. It also helps that the shadows themselves are totally easy to alloy.
While the mascara isn't nearly elevate enough for me, I'm sold on this kit (LORAC also has a similar one called the Close Up: Real Life To Red Carpet Eye Tutorial). I love the tutorials and the peach and taupe shadows, but I'grand also glad that LORAC included my favorite liquid liner of all time, Front of the Line Pro ($23).
Toll: $39 (works out to most $7.fourscore per piece)
AVAILABILITY: Available now at Sephora stores and also online

Okay, weird! This morning when Tabs climbed upwardly on my lap for a snuggle, I caught a whiff of expensive Italian cologne coming from his scruff, like he'd spritzed his pulse points, LOL!
He must have found my modest sample tube of Acqua Di Parma Colonia Body Lotion…
Great. 🙂
Your friendly neighborhood beauty aficionado,
Karen
